Hello, I’m Cathy Lunsford,

a Registered Nurse and the founder of Vital Bridge Wellness.

My journey into healthcare began at ten years old when my Mom enrolled me in a “Babysitters Course” at our local library, where I learned to perform CPR. That experience opened my eyes to the power of saving lives, and from that moment, I knew I wanted to be a nurse.

I fulfilled that dream by earning my RN credentials and spending many rewarding years working in ICU settings, including during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a Nurse Manager, I had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of nurses and techs, working together to provide the highest possible level of care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. While I found great fulfillment in leadership, the pressure of the hospital setting eventually led me to realize that I could make a greater impact by offering a more compassionate, personalized approach to care. I’ve seen firsthand how the healthcare system often falls short, which inspired me to create Vital Bridge Wellness.

With the unwavering support of my husband and four children, I made the difficult decision to step away from the hospital and focus on what I truly love—helping people heal, no matter where they are. Whether it’s at home, in a care facility, or in the hospital, I advocate for quality care and provide personalized services tailored to each patient’s needs.

At Vital Bridge Wellness, we offer a variety of concierge nursing services, including Pre-Op Education, Post-Surgical Care, Medication Management, Appointment Transportation, Catheter Care, Diabetes Management, Wellness Check-ins, and Patient Advocacy. I work alongside you to ensure your voice is heard and that you receive the care you deserve, whether it’s navigating medical appointments, coordinating treatments, or simply ensuring you’re supported throughout your journey.

Outside of nursing, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring local restaurants, and practicing yoga to help maintain balance and unwind. These activities provide me with the opportunity to recharge and find peace amidst the busyness of life.
